Richard Collyer, BSc (Hons)

Richard Collyer is an independent organic agriculture / horticultural consultant specialising in all aspects of advice and training in farm business and financial management, husbandry, conversion planning, organic systems development and conservation / habitat planning.

Richard has 25 years of experience in organic farming. He developed a complete national organic training system whilst with the Agricultural Training Board for 15 years. Latterly he has managed the Organic Conversion Information Service (OCIS) in Wales for 7 years as well as developing a network of farmer information and producer groups across Wales.

Richard currently works through a number of organic and educational organisations as well as delivering financial and business management advice through the Farming Connect Programme as well as private consultancy. He is also involved with the Lantra Training Needs Assessment Programme.
