IOTA aims to establish, maintain and enhance high standards of advice,
training and information in organic agriculture and in so doing enhance
the development and sustainability of organic farming as defined by the
IFOAM Principles. It will achieve this through a number of objectives
including:

Operating
an Accreditation scheme for organic advisers and trainers
that will provide potential clients with a means of identifying appropriate
and competent advisers and trainers, |

Providing
access to - and where necessary collating and disseminating - technical,
research, business, environment and market information to Members,
|
| |
|
 |
Facilitating
the provision of training in advisory and training techniques, organic
farming and environment and business management to Members, |
| |
|
 |
Providing
Members with a professional network within which to work. |
